Coaching Philosophy
USSF guidelines: Play-Practice-Play
The current ‘play-practice-play’ model of the USSF guidelines mandate that club soccer training sessions, up until the U-15 ages, must be designed entirely around small-sided and full-sided team scrimmages.
This leaves traditional technical training to the individual player making 1v1 training sessions with private coaches more crucial than ever before.
Development philosophy
Alex believes that developing the tools needed to be a successful two-way player (strong offensively and defensively) is paramount at the highest level. Incremental improvement can be achieved through attention to detail of proper footwork mechanics, ball mastery, and situational awareness.
To be an elite player he or she should have at minimum a cursory but intuitive tactical sense as well as a strong technical ability of the game in its entirety allowing him or her to seamlessly slide into multiple positions.
If a player wants it badly enough and finds joy in his or her practice, this committed player training under the VIS10N framework will begin to see results worthy of a fine investment over time.

Session Plan
Sessions and development plans are individualized according to the age and needs of the player. Sessions are precisely calculated from start to end. The creative design of modules typically incorporate an intense aerobic demand balanced with a high frequency of touches on the ball.
Training sessions are meant to be fun as well as challenging. Traditional drills are boring and enthusiasm draining. Due to Alex’s ability, he can easily provide physical examples as well as engage in game-like lessons.
The variations of modules may also be based around the position(s) on the field the client is best suited to play. For example, if a player is skillful with the ball but lacks the conditioning necessary for a right winger, he will increase the conditioning workload of his modules mechanically appropriate for a right winger.
